FIRST TIME FRUITION PLAYS SANTA FE

Whatever you do, don't mistake them for a bluegrass band.  They are a rock band with folk instrumentation, and I guarantee you've never seen anyone shred the mandolin as fiercely as Mimi Naja.  In the middle of jamming hard, Naja and her flanks on the front line (Jay Cobb Anderson and Kellen Asebroek) fall into vocal lockstep so easily, you'd think they collectively sprang from the womb wailing Beatles-esque harmonies.  This band works hard to deserve your attention, and I strongly suggest you give it to them.  They play Winter Wondergrass in Steamboat Springs, CO later this month, in Tahoe this March, and the Sweetwater 420 Festival in April.

P.S. The encore was not "Mt. Annie," as listed here, due to audibles from the audience.
