TnJ 648 (7/6/17)

Guest Toast Mary Pat Butler and I proudly present:  the Summer of Love 50th Anniversary Flashback Soundtrack.  Either performed/recorded in 1967 (a lot of pulls from the Monterey International Pop Festival), or on the radio during the height of the Haight.  One exception “slipped past the goalie,” as KBAC’s Honey Harris is prone to say: Steve Miller Band’s “Living in the U.S.A.” wasn’t released until 1968.  In our massive research sessions we intended to dig up the performance from 6/17/17 at the Monterey festival, but must have lost track of that goal somewhere along the way.  Sincerest apologies to the purists (^_^) TOAST
