Personal note to the producer of the new Dave Diamond disc, “Return of the Slowpoke”: I would’ve played something from the disc tonight, but it wouldn’t cue up in any of the players due, I presume, to some mastering defect or other. I’m all for D.I.Y., folks, but please do it right. I know hardly any stations actually use CD players these days, but some still do – thanks for giving my listeners a big ol’ dose of dead air!
Anyone who’s curious as to what track I would’ve played from that unplayable disc, it was “Concrete & Stone.”
