EastCoastDave on Archive.org: “This Dark Star just destroys everything in its path... Jerry's voice is still a little froggy, but the jamming makes up for it.”
ConstipatedCowboy on r/gratefuldead: “This was the second show -actually the second event of any kind - at the Miami Arena. It was brand spanking new. The first event was Julio Iglesias I think the previous night. There were heavy glass tiles all around the concourse and the sunset was distorted through the glass tiles and amplified / illuminated weirdly all over the concourse like staring at a sunset through a million prisms."
Enlightened_deadhead: “If you want to take a journey into your psyche and see what associations lie in wait - fear not for the whole world is in this one Dark Star...tv static, racquetball courts, time-machines, medieval torture, insect communication, funeral horns of new orleans, buddhist scripture, worldbeat, witches incantations, ice-ages, wars, raga, muzak, volcanoes, black holes, peruvian indigenous sounds, crawling, creeping, gliding, seething ends, beginnings, and tight rope walking over some huge abyss.”
