PHISH "ROUND ROOM" ON VINYL

Phish Heads! On Friday, February 2nd, the band will release "Round Room" on vinyl for the first time. Pre-order at Phish Dry Goods. Here's a detailed press release:

Round Room, Phish’s tenth studio album, will be available on vinyl for the first time on February 2. It’s available for pre-order now at Phish Dry Goods and will be in record stores. Pick up the Round Room deluxe gatefold package, each individually foil-numbered, with an accordion fold insert with lyrics and photos, and 2-LPs pressed on 180g “Round Room” maroon/stone wax set.

Round Room was recorded at The Barn in Vermont by Bryce Goggin during four days over two weekends in October 2002. The Round Room Sessions were initially intended as rehearsals for the band’s upcoming end-of-hiatus New Year’s Eve Show at Madison Square Garden, giving the recording a loose, live feel with several extended tracks like “Pebbles And Marbles”, “Seven Below”, “Walls Of The Cave”, and “Waves”.

The album was originally mastered by Fred Kevorkian and released by Elektra on December 10, 2002. Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers for the new 2024 vinyl release.
