Thanks to Chris for taking time to report from Colorado. He doesn't pull any punches. Sounds like Grouchy McGroucherstein was worn out by Tuesday and needed a cookie and a blankie (^_^)

Saxophones are grand.
First set was on the fly – no set list – little or no continuity. Glitchy sound on “It’s Ice” and a few others.
Second set has jams which wander and abrupt returns to songs at times. “Simple,” awesome. “Slave,” sick. “Julius” a personal fave. “Fee” with megaphone.
Hope they pick it up for night two.

Nice and solid.
Opener “Runaway Jim,” “Halley’s,” “Tweezer,” “Squirming Coil,” “Antelope,” all bomb.
Second set a bunch of songs I’m usually not the biggest fan of all played well with awesome jams. “Alaska,” “Piper,” “Camel Walk” super-tight & funky. “Gotta’ Jiboo,” “Twist,” and a bomber “Fluffhead.”
Overall exceeded expectations.
Looking for a blowout for night three!

Second set “Carini,” “Bowie,” “Free,” then bulsh*t slow songs for 2 hours.
“Split Open” terrible jam.
“Meatstick” encore then walked offstage, no bows.
Fuc*ing worst show I’ve ever seen. No rock’n’roll whatsoever. I want my $60 back from the band.
