KARL DENSON'S TINY UNIVERSE 8/27/21

Friday, August 27th - Karl Denson's Tiny Universe lit up the Railyard stage for the last show there this summer.  The way things are going, we feel grateful to have any shows at all.  This was probably the 5th time I've seen these guys and it's always a funky pleasure.  Towards the end, Karl begged us "white people" to please talk some sense into our "crazy relatives."  The clown generating bubbles from a machine was a nice touch, although technically not part of the show.  Jen Faust, who long ago relocated to Telluride, can be seen right there up front, and birthday girl Ana Padilla was also spotted.  I dare say a good time was had by all, but that always seems to be the case with Karl D.

BONNAROO CANCELLED DUE to FLOODING

After cancelling last year's event, and postponing this year's event due to COVID, Bonnaroo festival organizers have had to cancel this year's event due to flooding across the 700-acre site from Tropical Storm Ida.

Festival organizers tweeted that "all tickets purchased through FRONT GATE TICKETS will be refunded in as little as 30 days to the original method of payment."

Hi, music lovers!  You may have noticed a lack of updates in the sidebar of late.  This is because, in the process of updating the Blogger platform, they have lost some functionality on the back end.  They have promised to fix it, but in case they don't, this blog may have to undergo a serious redesign and lose the sidebars.  We'll see what happens but, meanwhile, stay toasty my friends (^_^)
